When driving in the car with the girls, we crank up the iPod with our favorite Christmas songs and sing to our hearts' content. The girls LOVE "The 12 Days of Christmas" sung by John Denver and the Muppets. (Of course they really only sing..."and a Partridge in a Pear Tree" and then break out into giggles.)
This morning as I was driving Carson (and Campbell) to PreSchool Believe by Josh Groban from the movie The Polar Express was playing. I was singing along, and before I knew it, I was wiping the tears from my face. I couldn't help it! Just looking at the girls in the rear-view mirror, with another in my belly, made me so grateful for everything God has given me. It's wonderful to bask in the Christmas spirit and share what everything the season has to offer with Carson and Campbell. I'm continually reminded of my childhood and the memories of magic in the air. I love this time of year!
Believe
Children, sleeping.
Snow is softly falling.
Dreams are calling,
Like bells in the distance.
We were dreamers,
Not so long ago.
But one by one, we
All had to grow up.
When it seems the magic slipped away...
We find it all again on Christmas Day.
Believe in what your heart is saying,
Hear the melody that's playing.
There's no time to waste,
There so much to celebrate.
Believe in what you feel inside,
Give your dreams the wings to fly.
You have everything you need, if you just believe.
Trains move quickly
To their journey's end.
Destinations...
Are where we begin again.
Ships go sailing,
Far across the sea.
Trusting starlight,
To get where they need to be.
When it seems that we have lost our way...
We find ourselves again on Christmas Day.
Believe in what your heart is saying,
Hear the melody that's playing
There's no time to waste,
There so much to celebrate.
Believe in what you feel inside,
And give your dreams the wings to fly.
You have everything you need, if you just Believe.
If you just believe.
If you just believe.
If you just believe...just believe...just believe.

I actually have my class listen to this song and reflect on the lyrics. Love it!
Oh... I can so relate to those precious moments - reflecting on God's goodness - and in the last days leading up to the birth of a child. Wow. Enjoy these sweet memories and times - and know we are thinking of and praying for you as you await Baby Park's arrival... :-)
