I took the girls to Wegman's last Thursday afternoon for their annual Halloween Parade. [For those who have not visited us in NY...Wegman's is a grocery store chain throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia. It's a stop we take any visitors coming our way--- you need to visit to truly appreciate it.] The girls got dressed up in their Halloween costumes (Carson was a garden fairy and Campbell was an autumn fairy) and we headed off to Ithaca for the parade. We were divided into groups and 'paraded' around the store-- meat section, cheese, bakery, pharmacy, organic, home goods and then ended up at one of the registers-- with every child receiving a handful of candy at each station. By the end of the parade instead of saying "thank you" the girls were saying "We love Wegmans!" Very appropriate!
