Kipp, during his visit for Carson's birthday, was on Campbell's case about NOT using the 'big girl potty'. Travis and I had, unsuccessfully, tried to get her out of diapers before Colbie's arrival, but stopped since we knew she just wasn't ready. Plus, we didn't want to pressure her with a new sibling in the house stealing some all of the spotlight.
Kipp was on it! Giving her grief and calling her a baby since she was still in diapers. Stop! Before you think he's a terrible (and childless) person-- he said this with a great deal of charm and love--he's wonderful with our girls.
Guess what? The day after they left, Campbell said to me, "I have to go potty, Mommy!" She went and she's been diaper-free ever since.
Thanks Uncle Buck!
Campbell loves her uncle. And vice versa.
